Interaction between Food and Aticef 375 Tablet

Interaction between Alcohol and Aticef 375 Tablet

Occasionally Aticef can cause drug-induced thrombocytopenia (blood clot formation in a vessel). However, if you experience severe thrombocytopenia after taking this medicine, please immediately seek medical help.
Rarely Aticef can cause neurotoxicity. It is a reversible side effect of this drug, the symptoms caused due to drug-induced neurotoxicity often disappear after this drug is stopped. However, if you experience convulsions, agitation, weakness and severe nausea do not hesitate to inform your doctor without any further delay.
Yes, Aticef can be taken for cough, if it is associated with infection caused by bacteria. However, if cough gets severe and does not subside after taking this drug. Do consult a doctor for the right treatment.
Avoid taking Aticef with azithromycin, because it can cause heart-related problems. However, if you are experiencing any discomfort after consuming these two medicines at the same time then do not hesitate to inform your doctor.
Do not self-administer Aticef. It comes in the form of injection and preferably taken 1 - 2 times in a day (Intravenously or Intramuscularly). Take this medicine in the required quantity and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Discontinuing the a in between may promote resistant bacteria which result in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief. In case you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
