Hidec is a prescription drug, available for use as Injection. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Post Menopausal Osteoporosis, Anemia. Secondary and off-label uses of Hidec have also been mentioned below.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Hidec. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.

The most common side effects of Hidec are Nausea or vomiting, Fluid Retention. While these are the most often observed Hidec side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Hidec go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. Consult your doctor if these side effects become worse or stay for a longer duration.

Hidec's effect during pregnancy is Severe and Moderate while nursing. In addition, Hidec's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Hidec related warnings section.
