Interaction between Alcohol and Naxy Nasal
Due to lack of research, there is no information about the side effects of taking Naxy Nasal with alcohol.
Naxy Nasal contains xylometazoline which is a nasal decongestant that works by causing constriction (shrinking) of blood vessels which are present in our nose. This results in a decrease in swelling and congestion in the nose which opens the nasal passages relieve nasal stuffiness that allows easy nasal breathing.
Put 1 - 2 drops or 1 spray of Naxy Nasal in each nostril 2 - 3 times in a day or as advised by your doctor. Precautions must be taken in patients with hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and hyperthyroidism.
Yes, Naxy Nasal can be taken with paracetamol. No clinically significant drug interaction has been reported between them. However, if you feel any discomfort after taking this drug along with paracetamol then do not hesitate to inform your doctor.
No, Naxy Nasal does not cause nosebleed (epistaxis). It has not been reported by the patients who are using this drug. In fact, it can be used to control nose bleed because it can cause constriction (shrinking) of blood vessels which can prevent the nose bleeding.
Yes, Naxy Nasal might cause a headache. It is a rare side effect of this drug. However, the exact cause of a headache is still unknown.
