Interaction between Food and Mozac
You can take Mozac with food.
Interaction between Alcohol and Mozac
Consult your doctor before consuming alcohol while taking Mozac as it can have severe side effects.
Rarely Mozac causes stomach cancer. There has been no direct relationship to establish the fact. However, stomach cancer and other cancers may develop because of recurring acid reflux for a long time for example 7 - 8 years or more. If you feel any symptoms associated with cancer such as consistent low-grade fever, weight loss due to unexplained reasons, and pain in the abdomen. Do not hesitate to get it diagnosed by a physician.
Rarely Mozac causes dementia. However, if you experience dementia after taking this medicine then inform to doctor right away and follow his/her instructions.
Yes, you can take Mozac with paracetamol. No drug-drug interactions are seen when taking these two medicines together. However, it doesn't mean that no interaction exists between them. If you experience any side effects after consuming these two medicines together, please inform the doctor and follow his/her instructions.
Yes, Mozac is used in the treatment of gastritis. It helps by preventing the excess acid secretion in the stomach and additionally relieving the symptoms of gastritis such as stomach pain, stomach inflammation, and acid reflux.
This is because a long-term use of Mozac can cause Vitamin B12 deficiency. Stomach acids help in the absorption of Vitamin B 12, and this drug suppresses stomach acid which is required for the absorption of vitamin B12. Hence patients taking [medicine] for a long time have Vitamin B12 deficiency. To replenish Vitamin B12 in your body your doctor prescribes this vitamin along with this medicine.
