Zoxan D is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Drops. The alternative uses of Zoxan D have also been explained below.
The correct dosage of Zoxan D depends on the patient's age, gender, and medical history. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.
The most common side effects of Zoxan D are Eye Pain, Eye itching, Eye Inflammation. Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Zoxan D can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Zoxan D go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. However, if these continue for a longer time, consult your doctor right away.
Furthermore, you should know that effect of Zoxan D is Severe for pregnant women and Safe for women who are breastfeeding. Is the use of Zoxan D safe for pregnant women?
Zoxan D has many dangerous side effects in pregnant women. If you are pregnant, do not consume Zoxan D without medical advice.
Is the use of Zoxan D safe during breastfeeding?
Breastfeeding women can safely use Zoxan D.
What is the effect of Zoxan D on the Kidneys?
No research work has been carried out till date on effects of Zoxan D on kidney. So it is not known whether taking Zoxan D will cause side effects on kidney or not.
What is the effect of Zoxan D on the Liver?
Information about safety of Zoxan D for the liver is not available since scientific research on this is yet to be done.
What is the effect of Zoxan D on the Heart?

Is it able to treat mental disorders?
No, the use of Zoxan D in mental disorders is not effective.
Interaction between Food and Zoxan D
It is safe to take Zoxan D with food.
Interaction between Alcohol and Zoxan D
Due to lack of research, nothing can be said about side effects of consuming alcohol while taking Zoxan D.
It is recommended to avoid taking Zoxan D with azithromycin because it can cause problems. However, if your doctor has prescribed it to you take it as per his/her advice. In case you are experiencing breathing difficulties, palpitations and pain in the chest please inform your doctor immediately.
Zoxan D should not be taken together. Harmful drug-drug interaction has been reported between them. Please let your doctor know that you are on warfarin if he/she has prescribed Zoxan D to you.
Zoxan D is not recommended as the first-line of a drug for treating a sinus infection. However, if there are no other alternatives available then you can take it. Keep your doctor informed.
Zoxan D can be taken with tramadol. No harmful drug interactions have been reported between them. However, It doesn't mean that no interaction exists between these two medicines when taken together. If you feel any discomfort after taking the two together, inform your doctor immediately.
Zoxan D is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, active against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It works by inhibiting the bacterial cell division for this it stops the working of enzyme which is responsible for cell division. It is effective against a large number of bacteria, even those bacteria which is other drugs to resistant.
