Zotacef S, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Injection. Other than this, Zotacef S has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Interaction between Food and Zotacef S
Taking Zotacef S with food does not cause any problems.
Interaction between Alcohol and Zotacef S
Due to lack of research, nothing can be said about side effects of consuming alcohol while taking Zotacef S.
Discontinuing Zotacef S in between may promote resistance to bacteria which may result in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief. you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
Occasionally Zotacef S can cause drug-induced thrombocytopenia (blood clot formation in a vessel). However, if you experience severe thrombocytopenia after taking this medicine, please immediately seek medical help.
Zotacef S works by inhibiting the growth of the bacterial cell wall which is essential for the growth of bacteria. Hence, in this way, it prevents us from bacterial infection.
Do not self-administer Zotacef S. It comes in the form of injection and preferably taken 1 - 2 times in a day (Intravenously or Intramuscularly). Take this medicine in the required quantity and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Discontinuing the a in between may promote resistant bacteria which result in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief. In case you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
Zotacef S and doxycycline can be taken together, as there are no reported harmful interactions between them. However, it doesn't mean that no interactions exist between them. Please take if prescribed by a doctor.
