Tussprox is a prescription drug, available for use as Syrup. Secondary and off-label uses of Tussprox have also been mentioned below.
The correct dosage of Tussprox depends on the patient's age, gender, and medical history. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.
Tussprox also has some side effects, the most common being Constipation, Heartburn, Nausea or vomiting. Some other side effects of Tussprox have been listed ahead. Normally, these side effects of Tussprox are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. Please speak with your doctor if these side effects worsen or persist for a longer duration.
Tussprox's effect during pregnancy is Moderate and Moderate while nursing. In addition, Tussprox's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Tussprox related warnings section.
Tussprox is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Gastrointestinal Bleeding, Asthma, Smoking Addiction are examples of such conditions. Other contraindications of Tussprox have been discussed in the sections ahead.

Tussprox may lead to some side effects in breastfeeding women. If you witness any unusal symptoms after taking Tussprox, discontinue its use and call your doctor right away. Follow your doctor's advice regarding the use of Tussprox.
What is the effect of Tussprox on the Kidneys?
There can be some harmful effects on your kidneys after taking Tussprox. If you witness any side effects, discontinue its use. Consult your medical practitioner, do as he/she suggests.
