Tussin is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Syrup, Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Bronchitis, Allergy, Urticaria Pigmentosa. Other than this, Tussin has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.
Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Tussin. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. The side effects typically associated with Tussin include Constipation, Heartburn, Nausea or vomiting. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Tussin as well, which are listed below. Usually, these side effects of Tussin go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. Consult your doctor if these side effects become worse or stay for a longer duration.
