Topsulant is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Epilepsy. Topsulant also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

The right dosage of Topsulant depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

While these are the most often observed Topsulant side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Such side effects of Topsulant normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

It is also important to note that Topsulant has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Mild effect on lactating mothers. It is important to know if Topsulant has any effect on the kidney, liver and heart. Information on such adverse effects, if any, has been given in the Topsulant related warnings section.

Topsulant is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Suicidal Tendency, Liver Disease are examples of such conditions. Other contraindications of Topsulant have been discussed in the sections ahead.
