Interaction between Food and Topcef Plus

Interaction between Alcohol and Topcef Plus
It is difficult to say anything about the effect of Topcef Plus and alcohol. No research has been done on this yet.
Topcef Plus works by inhibiting the growth of bacterial cell wall which is essential for the growth of bacteria. Hence, in this way, it prevents us from bacterial infection.
Discontinuing Topcef Plus in between may promote resistant to bacteria which result in relapse of infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief. In case you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
Yes, Topcef Plus can cause diarrhea by disturbing bacterial flora of gut. It is a common side effect of this drug. However, if you are experiencing severe diarrhea after consuming this medicine inform the doctor immediately and check if you can discontinue the medicine. Try keeping yourself hydrated, drink plenty of fluids and take ample rest.
Topcef Plus and doxycyclin can be taken together, as there are no reported harmful interactions between them. However, it doesn't mean that no interactions exist between them. Please take if prescribed by a doctor.
Topcef Plus can be taken orally or intravenously. Medicine should be ideally taken with food(a light meal). Take this medicine in the required quantity and duration as prescribed by your doctor.
