No, Sufrate does not case black stools. It has not been reported by the patients who are taking this drug. If you are experiencing black stools after taking this drug, then it might be due to some other reason and you are advised to discuss it with your doctor.
Take Sufrate 1-2 times in a day or as advised by your doctor. Sufrate should be taken empty stomach,1 hour before a meal or 2 hours after the meal so that it can form a protective coating in the gastrointestinal lining. Precautions must be taken in patients with improper kidney function.
Yes, Sufrate can be taken along with omeprazole at the same time. Omeprazole does not appear to interfere with the efficacy of Sufrate. Hence, it is alright to take them together. However, you are advised to take omeprazole 30 minutes before taking Sufrate.
