Rombispar Information

Rombispar is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Bacterial Infections, Bronchitis. Rombispar also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Rombispar. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

The most common side effects of Rombispar are Headache, Photosensitivity, Itching or burning. Some other side effects of Rombispar have been listed ahead. Such side effects of Rombispar normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. Consult your doctor if these side effects become worse or stay for a longer duration.

    Rombispar is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, active against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It works by inhibiting enzymes such as topoisomerase II (DNA gyrase) and topoisomerase IV which are essential for the bacterial cell to repair, DNA replication, transcription, and recombination. Thus it kills the bacteria. It is effective against a large number of bacteria, even those bacteria which are resistant to other drugs.
