Relnopa works by forming myelin sheath which is used to cover and protect the nerve cells. Relnopa is used to revive the nerve cells. In the absence of enough Relnopa, myeline sheath doesn't form properly leading to nerve damage.
Yes, there may be some undesirable effects associated with Relnopa such as acne, acne-rosacea (redness of the face) and some allergic reactions.
The Relnopa can be used for the treatment of subacute herpetic neuralgia (pain that persists for 30 to 120 days following a rash by herpes zoster), glossopharyngeal neuralgia (extreme pain at the back of the tongue, throat or ears) and trigeminal neuralgia (extreme pain caused via trigeminal nerve from face to the brain).
Yes, Relnopa has been found to be effective against tingling and burning sensations in a leg, and spontaneous pain, associated with diabetic neuropathy.
Relnopa is an active form of vitamin B12. It is available in the form of oral, parenteral, and sublingual (under the tongue) formulations. It is used to treat B12 deficiency, Alzheimer's disease, diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage due to diabetes), visual function, rheumatoid arthritis, Bell's Palsy (facial paralysis or temporary weakness of the facial muscles), sleep-wake rhythm (irregular sleeping pattern) disorder and neuropathic pain.
