Ramcet D is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Pain.

Interaction between Food and Ramcet D

Interaction between Alcohol and Ramcet D
Consuming Ramcet D with alcohol can have many serious effects on your body.
Ramcet D contains domperidone (dopamine D2-receptor antagonist). It works by inhibiting the neurotransmitter dopamine (a chemical messenger present in our body) from acting on the vomiting center present in the brain thus preventing nausea and vomiting which provides relief to the patient from nausea and vomiting.
Yes, Ramcet D has been reported to cause diarrhoea but this occurs in a few cases only. It is a common side effect of this medicine. Drink plenty of fluids while you are taking this medicine. If you are experiencing severe diarrhoea after taking this drug, discuss your doctor immediately without any further delay.
Ideally, Ramcet D should be taken by mouth once daily but it can be taken twice in some cases depending on the severity of symptoms or as advised by your doctor. It should be taken before 30 minutes of eating food to prevent acidity and heartburn. Precautions must be taken in patients with hypersensitivity and improper liver function.
Yes, Ramcet D can cause headache, this occurs rarely. It is a known side effect of this drug. However, the exact cause behind this is unknown.
