Racetril is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Capsule, Powder, Tablet. It is typically used for the treatment of Diarrhoea.

The optimal dosage of Racetril is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

Common side effects of Racetril include Nausea or vomiting, Fever. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Racetril as well, which are listed below. Normally, these side effects of Racetril are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

Furthermore, you should know that effect of Racetril is Severe for pregnant women and Severe for women who are breastfeeding. In addition, Racetril's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Racetril related warnings section.
