It works by inhibiting the neurotransmitter dopamine (a chemical messenger present in our body) from acting on the vomiting center present in the brain thus preventing nausea and vomiting which provides relief to the patient from nausea and vomiting.
Yes, Raberon DSR can cause headache, this occurs rarely. It is a known side effect of this drug. However, the exact cause behind this is unknown. If you experience severe headache after taking this drug, consider taking a mild painkiller, applying balms and complete rest, even after this if pain does not subside then discuss with your doctor immediately.
Yes, Raberon DSR can help to reduce gas (flatulence) by preventing acidity (through decreasing the release of acid in your stomach) and facilitating gastric emptying.
Yes, Raberon DSR has been reported to cause diarrhoea but this occurs in a few cases only. It is a common side effect of this medicine. Drink plenty of fluids while you are taking this medicine. If you are experiencing severe diarrhoea after taking this drug, discuss your doctor immediately without any further delay.
Ideally, Raberon DSR should be taken by mouth once daily but it can be taken twice in some cases depending on the severity of symptoms or as advised by your doctor.
