Interaction between Alcohol and Pantored

Pantored is not an antacid. It is proton pump inhibitor which reduce the excess acid in the stomach.
Avoid taking Pantored with levothyroxine because it delays the absorption of levothyroxine and also effects the efficacy of levothyroxine. Please seek guidance from your doctor regarding taking these two medicines together.
Pantored works by blocking the action of the enzyme in the wall of a stomach which is responsible for acid production in the stomach. By blocking the enzyme, the production of acid is decreased, and this helps to relieve the stomach from acidity, heartburn, GERD, stomach ulcer and other acidity related stomach problem.
