Oraflora is a brand name for choline salicylate and it is available in the form of mouthwash, gel. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of drug called anti-inflammatory agent and pain reliever. It is mainly used to provide relief from symptoms such as pain and inflammation in mouth ulcer, cold sores, and denture sores.
No, Oraflora is not safe for babies. It is not recommended to use in babies because it can cause Reye’s syndrome (causes swelling in the brain and liver damage).
Yes, Oraflora is safe to use if taken as per doctor's recommendation. However, some side effects are an encounter at therapeutic doses such as throat or tongue swelling, itching, and wheezing or coughing.
