Yes, Omepraz causes dizziness, if taken for a long time, for example, more than 1 year. If this medicine has been taken for a long time it can lower the magnesium level in the blood, which can cause dizziness. However, do not hesitate to inform your doctor.
Rarely Omepraz causes dementia. However, if you experience dementia after taking this medicine then inform to doctor right away and follow his/her instructions.
Yes, Omepraz can be taken with an antibiotic. Taking Omepraz with a certain antibiotic can treat H.Pylori associated stomach infection. However, it is best to consult your doctor before taking these two medicines together.
Omepraz should be taken 30 - 60 minute before meal. Preferably it should be taken once a day in the morning before breakfast. However, some people may require to take it twice in a day, in this case, 1 tablet should be taken in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening before meal.
