Interaction between Alcohol and Odee
Taking Odee with alcohol can have severely harmful effects on your health.
Odee should be taken 30 - 60 minute before meal. Preferably it should be taken once a day in the morning before breakfast. However, some people may require to take it twice in a day, in this case, 1 tablet should be taken in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening before meal. Please consult your doctor regarding the exact dosage regime of medicine and follow his/her instruction.
Discontinuation of Odee on your own can cause harmful effects on your body. It is recommended that you always consult your doctor before discontinuing medicine on your own.
Yes, Odee is safe to use, if taken in prescribed amount and duration as advised by your doctor. However, very few side effects are observed such as stomach upset, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, vomiting, and joint pain. Odee works by blocking the action of proton pump inhibitor which is responsible for acid production in the stomach. By blocking the production of acid in the stomach it helps to relieve from acidity, heartburn, GERD, stomach ulcer and other acidity related stomach problems.
This is because a long-term use of Odee can cause Vitamin B12 deficiency. Stomach acids help in the absorption of Vitamin B 12, and this drug suppresses stomach acid which is required for the absorption of vitamin B12.
