How to take Neopred?

Neopred comes in form of a tablet and topical preparation (cream). Drink plenty of fluids while you are taking this medicine. Drinking extra water will help prevent some unwanted side effects such as diarrhea and other stomach related problems. Topical cream should be applied after cleaning the infected area, allow it to dry, and then gently rub the medication till it does not appear. Do not forget to wash your hands after applying this drug. Take it exactly as directed by the physician.

Neopred is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, active against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It works by stopping the production of proteins that bacteria need to survive. It is effective against different types of bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Haemophilus influenza, Proteus species, S. aureus, and Serratia species. Pseudomonas aeruginosa is generally resistant.
