Mr Met, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Diabetes.

Interaction between Alcohol and Mr Met
Consult your doctor before consuming alcohol while taking Mr Met as it can have severe side effects.
MR Met helps in weight loss by reducing appetite and food intake. It also increases the insulin sensitivity in your body to work more effectively. This lead to decreased glucose production increases the use of glucose and decrease the fat deposition further helps in weight loss. However, MR Met is not approved for weight loss, this is an off-label use.
Yes, MR Met can be taken with the statin. There is no serious or harmful interaction have been observed between them. Some studies say that it's possible your blood sugar (blood glucose) level may increase when you take a statin, which may lead to developing type 2 diabetes. The risk is small but important enough that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a warning on statin labels regarding blood glucose levels and diabetes.
MR Met can be taken forever, diabetes is a progressive disease it's possible that more medication and/or insulin may eventually need to be added to the regime.
No, you should not take alcohol with MR Met, because it can cause serious side effects which includes hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). The risk of hypoglycemia is higher when you're drinking and taking MR Met than if you're just taking MR Met. Some of the signs of hypoglycemia include dizziness, confusion, and drowsiness.
Yes, MR Met can cause night sweat, the exact mechanism of sweating is not known. But some research suggests that MR Met causes hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) especially at night which can cause night sweats. Need to monitor your blood glucose level regularly, and talk to your doctor as your dose of MR Met may need to be adjusted.
