Metabay is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Diabetes.
The optimal dosage of Metabay is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Metabay contain metformin, is an oral antidiabetic drug which belongs to the class of biguanide. It is the first-line medication for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, particularly in people who are overweight. It is also used in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome.
