Merojet does not help in preventing cold, because the common cold is a viral infection. However, the drug can be used in the treatment of cold, if it is associated with a bacterial infection. You are recommended to consult your doctor for the best possible medicines to treat the common cold.
Ideally, Merojet should be taken 3 daily or as advised by your doctor. generally, meropenem injections are given in the hospital. Precautions must be taken in patients seizures, brain disease, or kidney disease
Discontinuing Merojet in between may promote resistant to bacteria which result in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the course even after getting symptomatic relief.
