Luliderm is a brand name of luliconazole and it comes in the form of a topical cream. It belongs to the class of drugs known as antifungal agents (azole class anti-infectives). It is a prescription drug that is used for the treatment of interdigital tinea pedis also known as athlete's foot (fungal infection) that affects the area between the toes. It is also used in the treatment of jock itch also known as tinea cruris (fungal infection of the skin) that affects the skin area around the genitals, buttocks, and inner thighs and ringworm also known as tinea corporis. Luliderm is effective against all of these fungal skin infections that are caused by Trichophyton rubrum and Epidermophyton floccosum.
