Yes, Lulibrut can be used for jock itch also known as tinea cruris which is a fungal infection of the skin that affects the skin area around the genitals, buttocks, and inner thighs caused by fungi such as Trichophyton rubrum and Epidermophyton floccosum. Lulibrut is effective against these fungi and ensures their complete eradication.
Lulibrut contains luliconazole which is an antifungal agent that works by preventing the synthesis of ergosterol (a component of the cell membrane of fungi) through inhibition of an enzyme known as lanosterol demethylase. In the absence of ergosterol fungal cell wall is damaged that results in an increase in permeability of fungal cell wall this causes leakage of nutrients which kills the fungi. Lulibrut is effective against fungi such as Trichophyton rubrum and Epidermophyton floccosum.
