Leoar is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Urinary Tract Infection, Prostatitis, Pneumonia. Other than this, Leoar has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Interaction between Food and Leoar

Interaction between Alcohol and Leoar
Taking [medicine] and alcohol at the same time may lead to mild side effects. Contact your doctor right away if you observe any side effects.
It is recommended to avoid taking Leoar with azithromycin because it can cause heart-related problems. However, if your doctor has prescribed it to you take it as per his/her advice. In case you are experiencing breathing difficulties, palpitations and pain in the chest please inform your doctor immediately.
Leoar is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, active against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It works by inhibiting the bacterial cell division and stops the working of enzyme which is responsible for cell division. It is effective against a large number of bacteria, even those bacteria which are resistant to other drugs.
Take Leoar if your doctor has prescribed it to you. However, keep a close check on blood sugar levels as metformin is known to cause hypoglycemia( sudden dip in blood sugar levels). In case you are experiencing severe hypoglycemia, please inform your doctor immediately.
Yes you can take this Leoar for treating sinus infection. However, this is not the first choice of drug for sinus infection advised by doctors. Doctors generally prescribe antibiotics, painkillers and nasal sprays to relieve from severe nasal passage congestions.
