Interaction between Alcohol and Lenzip
Consuming Lenzip with alcohol can have many serious effects on your body.
Lenzip works by blocking the action of an enzyme (H+/K+ATPase) in the cells (parietal) of the stomach which is responsible for acid production in the stomach. Due to blockage of this enzyme, the production of acid is decreased, and this helps to relieve the stomach from acidity, heartburn, GERD, stomach ulcer and other acidity related stomach problem.
Yes, Lenzip can cause diarrhea, which may be the sign of a new infection. If you experience diarrhea after consuming this medicine, please inform the doctor right away without further delay.
Yes, Lenzip can be taken with ibuprofen. No harmful drug interaction has been reported between them. It is safe to take Lenzip along with ibuprofen if the dose of Lenzip does not exceed as recommended by the doctor.
