Irex Tablet deficiency can be treated by taking 250 micrograms to 1 milligram of the drug. For pregnant women, the recommended dosage is 400 micrograms per day from supplements or fortified food. Folic acid can be safely taken through the oral route or through an injection. The drug is safe when taken in doses less than 1000 micrograms per day.
