Yes, Hepasure is helpful in hepatic encephalopathy which is a brain disorder that causes a decline in the functioning of the brain due to the accumulation of ammonia caused by liver damage. Hepasure works by promoting the synthesis of glutamine in our body which is an amino acid that binds with ammonia, this binding results in the formation of a complex which is non-toxic in nature and easily removed from the body by kidneys in urine. Yes, Hepasure causes nausea and vomiting, but this occurs in a few cases only. It is a rare side effect of this drug. For relief from nausea and vomiting try to take lime water, avoid eating spicy food even if it persists or becomes severe then discuss it with your doctor.

No, Hepasure does not cause low blood pressure (hypotension). If you are experiencing lightheadedness or blurry vision (symptoms of low blood pressure) after taking this drug then try to sit down and rest for a while till it subsides and discuss with the doctor.
