Frusenex is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Edema, High BP, Swelling. Secondary and off-label uses of Frusenex have also been mentioned below.

Yes, Frusenex can be taken with paracetamol. No harmful drug interaction has been reported between them. However, if you feel any unpleasant effects then consult your doctor and follow his/her instructions.
Yes, Frusenex can raise the blood sugar levels slightly in diabetic patients. However, the exact cause behind this is unknown but it is presumed that Frusenex decreases the sensitivity of insulin towards glucose which causes rise in blood sugar levels. So, if you have diabetes keep a check on your blood sugar levels and incase of sudden spike in sugar levels take blood glucose lowering medicines to manage your diabetes.
Yes, Frusenex can cause headache, this occurs rarely. It is a known side effect of this drug. However, the exact cause behind this is unknown. If you experience a severe headache after taking this drug, consider taking a mild painkiller, applying balms and complete rest. Even if the pain does not subside then discuss with your doctor immediately.
Frusenex can be taken at night but you are advised to take it in the morning to avoid sleep disturbances caused by excessive urination during the night.
Hearing loss (ototoxicity) has been associated with Frusenex only in case of rapid injection, severe kidney impairment, and the use of higher than recommended doses. It is a known side effect of this drug and it occurs only in few cases.
