Folate is required by the human body for the synthesis, repair, and methylation of DNA. It also acts as a cofactor for various biological processes. Folate plays an important role during cell division and is required during infancy and pregnancy. Folate is required for the synthesis of healthy red blood cells. Deficiency of folate can affect all these roles and can cause anemia thus Folilat fulfills this deficiency and prevents from anemia.

Folilat should not be discontinued on your own. Your doctor may want to check your recent levels of folic acid with the help of blood tests. If the reports are satisfactory then your doctor will ask you to discontinue Folilat.
