How does Flusaf M work?

Flusaf M contains flunarizine which works through preventing the narrowing of blood vessels due to calcium overload caused by the excessive influx of calcium. The narrowing of blood vessels is considered as a possible cause for migraine and its prevention helps in reducing the frequency and severity of migraine attacks. Flusaf M also blocks the release of a chemical messenger (histamine) due to its antihistaminic properties which are presumed to contribute in providing relief to the patient from symptoms of vestibular vertigo.
