Faronac is a brand name for Faropenem and available in the form of a tablet. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medication called carbapenem antibiotics. Faronac is a broad spectrum antibiotic, used for treating bacterial infections, such as bronchitis, pneumonia, otitis externa, tympanitis, sinusitis, pyelonephritis, cystitis, prostatitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis. It is also used in the skin and skin structure infections.
