Taking Emline with alcohol can have severely harmful effects on your health.
Emline should be taken with food to reduce stomach and bowel side effects, which may experience the first few weeks of treatment. Also, exercise regularly and test for sugar in your blood or urine as directed.
Emline helps in weight loss by reducing appetite and food intake. It also increases the insulin sensitivity in your body to work more effectively. This lead to decreased glucose production increases the use of glucose and decrease the fat deposition further helps in weight loss. However, Emline is not approved for weight loss, this is an off-label use.
No, you should not take alcohol with Emline, because it can cause serious side effects which includes hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).
