Dvital contains cholecalciferol also known as vitamin D3. It works by restoring the normal levels of vitamin D3 in the body which promotes the calcium and phosphate absorption in the intestine and its retention from the kidneys. Normally, vitamin D3 comes from dietary sources and it is also synthesized in the skin by sunlight.
