Coldact Capsule, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Capsule. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Common Cold, Fever. Other than this, Coldact Capsule has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Interaction between Food and Coldact Capsule

Interaction between Alcohol and Coldact Capsule
Taking alcohol with Coldact Capsule can be dangerous.
You should take the minimum effective dose of Coldact that reduces body pain and fever. It should be used for the shortest time period till you get relief. Take it as per doctor's advice do not exceed dosage. Ideally, 1 or 2 tablets (500 mg) every four to six hours can be safely taken, do not take more than four doses in 24 hours. Please note paracetamol 500 mg tablet should not be given to children below 10 years until and unless prescribed by a child specialist.
Yes, you can take Coldact with aspirin. No drug-drug interaction has been reported between them. But you're recommended to consult your doctor before taking these two medications together.
No, Coldact is not used for treating stomach pain. The stomach pain could be due to some underlying medical condition which may require medical attention. If the pain does not subside within 1 day. Please consult your doctor without further delay.
Coldact is a safe drug no much precautions are to be taken. However, alcohol should be completely avoided. If you have any previous history of kidney and liver diseases keep your doctor informed before taking this drug.
An overdose occurs when more than the required amount (toxic levels) of [medicine] is taken. Initial symptoms of Coldact overdose includes loss of appetite, drowsiness, seizures, abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. Later progressive symptoms may include pain in your upper stomach, dark colored urine, yellowing of your skin or the white patches in your eyes, liver damage and in rare cases, it can also lead to coma. So, by any chance, if you have accidentally taken more than the required dose of Coldact inform your doctor immediately.
