Yes, in a few cases oral Clinka N may cause abdominal pain. It is a known side effect of this drug. However, the exact cause of abdominal pain is unknown. If you are experiencing abdominal pain after taking this drug then you are advised to take a mild painkiller such as paracetamol.
No, Clinka N does not cause hair loss (alopecia). It has not been associated with hair loss till now. If you are experiencing any unusual hair loss after using this drug and you are in doubt that Clinka N is causing this effect then do discuss it with your doctor.
Clinka N is a broad-spectrum antibiotic. It works by preventing the protein synthesis in bacteria which are essential for it. The absence of these vital proteins results in stunned bacterial cell growth due to which bacteria become vulnerable and dies. Clinka N is effective against a wide range of both gram negative and gram positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes, Prevotella melaninogenica, and lostridium perfringens.
Clinka N is a prescription drug and an antibiotic, hence do not take Clinka N without consulting a doctor. It can be harmful for patients to take this medicine without the doctor's advice.
Yes, Clinka N can treat UTI (urinary tract infection) but it is not generally preferred as a first line drug of choice for the treatment of UTI. It is only prescribed in UTI when other drugs are not effective in treating the infection.
