Cavirip Information

Cavirip is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Tuberculosis.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Cavirip. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

The most common side effects of Cavirip are Rash, Erythema, Discoloration of Urine. Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Cavirip can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Cavirip go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. However, if these continue for a longer time, consult your doctor right away.

This is the usual dosage recommended in most common treatment cases. Please remember that every patient and their case is different, so the dosage can be different based on the disease, route of administration, patient's age and medical history.

  • Special Instructions: strength 250 mg isoniazid, 1500 mg pyrazinamide, and 600 mg rifampicin
2 - 12 years (Child)

  • Single Maximum Dose: 4 Tablet
  • Dosage Form: Tablet
  • Dosage Route: Oral
  • Frequency: 1 daily
  • Course Duration: 2 months
