Artisun, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Injection. It is primarily used for the treatment of Malaria.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Artisun. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. While these are the most often observed Artisun side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Artisun go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

Artisun's effect during pregnancy is Moderate and Unknown while nursing. In addition, Artisun's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Artisun related warnings section.

Artisun can cause adverse effects in certain medical conditions. It is strongly recommended to avoid Artisun in conditions like Liver Disease. The section on Artisun contraindications lists all such conditions.
