Alcalm is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Anxiety. Alcalm also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

The correct dosage of Alcalm depends on the patient's age, gender, and medical history. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.

Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Alcalm as well, which are listed below. Normally, these side effects of Alcalm are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

Furthermore, you should know that effect of Alcalm is Severe for pregnant women and Severe for women who are breastfeeding. In addition, Alcalm's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Alcalm related warnings section.

Alcalm can cause adverse effects in certain medical conditions. It is strongly recommended to avoid Alcalm in conditions like Glaucoma, Epilepsy, Myasthenia Gravis (MG). Other contraindications of Alcalm have been discussed in the sections ahead.
