Narayana Nethralaya is a chain of superspeciality eye hospitals spread across four locations across the city of Bangalore, Karnataka. The locations in Bangalore are Hosur Road, Indiranagar, South Bangalore, and Bannerghatta. Established in 1982 by Dr Katkeri Bhujang Shetty, the hospital caters to over 1200 patients in a single day.
Narayana Netralaya, Rajajinagar was inaugurated in 1993 by Padmabhushana Dr Rajkumar. The medical facilities of the hospital include treatment for Ocular inflammation, Autoimmune Diseases, Eye Infections, Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinal Detachment, ARMD, Trauma & various other Retinal Disorders. The eye hospital also has a team of more than 43 doctors and surgeons.
OPD timings for the hospital are from Monday to Saturday between 10 am and 5 pm. The hospital is on the panel of various insurance companies including Medicare Insurance, Medsave Health, United Healthcare, Parekh Insurance, Religare, and Raksha Health Insurance for cashless medical claim facilities.
Narayana Netralaya is also on the panel of various PSUs and Government Institutions. The PSUs include Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), Ex-Service Men Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC), and Karnataka Legislative Council.
