Celin is the brand name for vitamin c. It belongs to a class of compounds known as antioxidants. It is available in the form of injection, chewable tablet, lozenges, syrup, and drops. Celin is used to treat scurvy, a vitamin c deficiency disorder, urine acidification, delayed bone and wound healing and as an antioxidant.

No, it is not recommended that you discontinue taking Celin on your own if you have started taking it on a doctor's recommendations. The treatment might continue for several weeks, therefore, quitting it in between might not be a good option. It might lead to disease relapse. Hence, continue the treatment for as long as your doctor suggests.

Celin may cause allergy in rare instances. An allergic reaction might lead to swelling of the face, development of a rash, throat tightness and difficulty in breathing. If you develop any of these symptoms, talk to your doctor immediately. He may stop Celin for a while and examine you properly.

Yes, Celin is present in milk but in very minute amount. The other sources of vitamin c are green and red peppers, broccoli, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, leafy greens, spinach, cabbage, tomatoes, orange, grapefruit, kiwi, mangoes, papaya, watermelon, and strawberries.
