No, Vertistar Plus does not treat motion sickness. It is antivertigo medicine used to treat vertigo associated with Meniere's disease. Motion sickness is treated with ondansetron and another anti-nausea drug. It is well tolerated and has no side effects.

Vertistar Plus can be safely taken as prescribed by your doctor. Do not discontinue the medicine suddenly or take it longer than prescribed duration. Vertistar Plus is a brand name for betahistine. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medication called antivertigo or betahistine analogue. Occasionally, Vertistar Plus causes constipation. Constipation means three or fewer bowl in a week, in this case, stool become hard and dry and sometimes it is painful to pass. If you experience severe constipation after consuming this medicine, eat more fruit, vegetable, and grain which are higher in fibers. Also, drink plenty of water and take a laxative if necessary.
