Mycoclin is a brand name of sertaconazole and it comes in the form of topical cream. Sertaconazole which belongs to the class of drugs known as antifungal agents. It is a prescription drug that is used for the treatment of treat tinea pedis (athlete's foot) which is a fungal infection of the skin caused by mainly one of the three fungi which are Trichophyton, Microsporum, and Epidermophyton. It is also used in the treatment of other fungal infections such as ringworm and jock itch (tinea cruris).

Yes, Mycoclin may cause dry skin. It has been reported by the patients who are using this drug. For mild skin dryness, you are advised to use skin moisturizer such as petroleum jelly even after it you experience excessive dryness of the skin then discuss it with your doctor.
