Vertop is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Meniere's Disease, Vertigo. Secondary and off-label uses of Vertop have also been mentioned below.

Vertop can be safely taken as prescribed by your doctor. Do not discontinue the medicine suddenly or take it longer than prescribed duration. It starts working within a few days after consuming this drug. However, in some patient, it may take some weeks to work properly. Duration, of course, varies patient to patient.
Yes, Vertop is safe to use, if taken prescribed quantity for the prescribed duration as directed by a doctor. However, few known side effects have been observed such as stomach upset, nausea, and headache. If you are experiencing any of the above-mentioned side effects inform your doctor immediately.
Occasionally, Vertop causes constipation. Constipation means three or fewer bowl in a week, in this case, stool become hard and dry and sometimes it is painful to pass.
