Yes, Chlo is an antibiotic. It contains chloramphenicol which is a broad spectrum antibiotic that belongs to the class of drugs known as amphenicols. It is used for the prevention and treatment of various bacterial infections. It is mainly used in the treatment of parrot fever, rickettsial infection, cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, and also sometimes in the management of typhoid fever.
