Shilof is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. Urinary Tract Infection, Ear Infection, Bacterial Infections are some of its major therapeutic uses. The alternative uses of Shilof have also been explained below.

The right dosage of Shilof depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

While these are the most often observed Shilof side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Shilof go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

It is also important to note that Shilof has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Moderate effect on lactating mothers. Shilof can cause adverse effects in certain medical conditions. It is strongly recommended to avoid Shilof in conditions like Atrial Fibrillation, Heart Failure, Myasthenia Gravis (MG). Some other conditions that can be affected by Shilof are listed in the contraindications section below.
