Atgam is a prescription drug, available for use as Injection. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Kidney transplant.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Atgam. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

Atgam also has some side effects, the most common being Joint aches, Back Pain, Decreased white blood cell count (neutrophils). While these are the most often observed Atgam side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Normally, these side effects of Atgam are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. Consult your doctor if these side effects become worse or stay for a longer duration.
