Translol is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of High BP. Secondary and off-label uses of Translol have also been mentioned below.

The optimal dosage of Translol is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

Common side effects of Translol include Slow heart rate (pulse). Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Translol can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. These side effects of Translol are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. However, if these continue for a longer time, consult your doctor right away.

It is also important to note that Translol has a Severe effect for pregnant women and Mild effect on lactating mothers. In addition, Translol's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Translol related warnings section.

Translol is contraindicated in people with pre-existing medical conditions like Bradycardia (Slow Heart Rate) as it can result in adverse effects. Other contraindications of Translol have been discussed in the sections ahead.
